High School Preparatory Class English Program
In the high school preparatory class, where 20 hours of English instruction are delivered weekly, students develop the language proficiency necessary to successfully follow the TED Rönesans College high school English program.
In addition to classroom materials, students are supported through the Globed Achieve 3000 online learning platform. The preparatory program is designed for students who are new to learning English or who need additional guidance in their journey.
Through a thematic approach, students learn English in context. The program places particular emphasis on literature and project-based learning. It also adopts a structured approach to grammar instruction. The program aims to promote learner autonomy; in other words, it seeks to develop individuals who take responsibility for their own learning.
High School English Program
Our high school English program prepares all students for internationally recognized examinations through thematic learning, age-appropriate content, and the use of modern learning management technologies.
As of 2025, students in Grades 9, 10 and 11 use McGraw Hill’s award-winning Actively Learn platform to expand their language skills and deepen their engagement with English.
By the end of Grade 10, students at TED Rönesans College are prepared for international assessments aligned with the CEFR B2+ level, while students on the First Language track are assessed in a manner similar to native speakers. In Grade 11, students are offered the opportunity to take College Board Advanced Placement (AP) courses, through which they continue their language development. All AP courses mirror the demands of a first-semester university-level program in an international context.
