Developed to promote science literacy among the public, the science curriculum aims to enable students to:

• Learn the core concepts of astronomy, biology, physics, chemistry, earth and environmental sciences, as well as applications of science and technology,
• Adopt scientific process skills and a scientific research approach in the process of discovering nature and understanding the relationship between human and the environment, and develop solutions to problems faced in this area,
• Recognize the interaction between the individual, environment and society, and gain an awareness of sustainable development towards society, economy and natural resources,
• Take responsibility in problems encountered in daily life and utilize scientific knowledge, processes and entrepreneurial skills in developing solutions to these,
• Develop an awareness regarding science careers and entrepreneurial skills,
• Understand how scientists create knowledge, relevant processes the knowledge goes through and how it is used in new studies,
• Grow an interest in nature and natural phenomenon in their surroundings,
• Recognize the importance of safety in scientific studies and embrace a safety approach in their endeavors,
• Develop reasoning skills, scientific thinking habits and decision-making skills by making use of socio-scientific knowledge,
• Embrace universal morals, national and cultural values and scientific ethics.

Students from grades 1 to 4 take part in science experiments in the Discovery Workshop.
