The overall goal of the Mathematics department is carrying out activities for developing students’ reasoning, critical thinking, analytical thinking, estimation and problem solving skills and raising competent individuals for the future through these activities.

In the high school preparatory year, we provide students with the English terminology that make up the foundation of all the Mathematics subjects to be covered in 9th grade, enabling them to follow lessons in English. The instruction language is English in grades 9 and 10 (Students who are part of the AP program continue learning mathematics in English in grades 11 and 12 as well). Our program is compatible with the MoNE curriculum.

In designing lessons and in-class teaching methods, we include skills-based exercises within differentiated teaching activities, interdisciplinary thematic activities, Q&A activities, technology-enhanced activities, national and international contests and projects. Performance evaluation projects are designed towards developing mathematical skills. Based on the analysis of the results of school wide measurement and evaluation efforts, we do in-class revisions on necessary subjects.
