Starting from preschool, the Music department aims to develop students’ sense of aesthetics through music, their perception and knowledge of music; provides students with opportunities to participate in music activities to develop their talents and creativity; helps them adopt the habit of listening to music genres that will positively influence their development; helps students grow as individuals with critical tastes, appreciation and understanding of the national and universal culture of music, who respect art and artists.
In primary school Music classes, our program includes the subjects defined by the Ministry of National Education (MoNE) curricula for grades 1-3, as well as basics in music, Orff method-based teaching and choir activities. In 4th grade, in addition to MoNE curriculum subjects, we include basics in music and introduce instruments.
